Accessibility in Our Rooms:

At The Litton, inclusivity is at the heart of what we do. Our dedicated accessible overnight stay room features wide doorways, a roll-in wet room shower, grab bars and step-free access via ramps. We warmly welcome all guests, including assistance dogs, and every canine companion receives our special dog welcome pack. Our team is trained to provide thoughtful, informed support, ensuring every guest feels at ease and well cared for.

Accessibility in Our Restaurant:

We’ve thoughtfully adapted The Litton’s characterful spaces to be as inclusive as possible. Step-free access is available via a dedicated entrance at the rear of the property, with accessible parking and ground-floor disabled toilet facilities. Our team is always on hand to assist, and we provide clear signage and accessibility guides both on-site and online. Whether visiting with a four-legged friend or requiring additional support, all are warmly welcomed.

If you have any questions regarding accessibility before your visit, please don’t hesitate to call us on 01761 241 554. Our team will be happy to provide any information or reassurance you may need.

Sustainability is central to our ethos. From partnering with local suppliers to minimise food waste, to introducing energy-efficient lighting and responsible sourcing, we are dedicated to reducing our environmental impact. Our rooms are stocked with plastic-free plant fibre slippers, offering a more natural, considered alternative for our guests.

Beyond our walls, we’re equally committed to protecting and nurturing the natural environment around us. Our kitchen and pub gardens are carefully tended by our gardener, who ensures the planting of bee and insect-friendly species and maintains organic composting practices. We’ve introduced reused sinks as small ponds, installed bird feeders, and used a traditional dead hedge made from stacked garden cuttings to create natural fencing along the riverbank.

In the spring and summer of 2025, we proudly joined the Creating a Buzz campaign in partnership with Navas Drinks and the National Wildflower Centre at The Eden Project. This national initiative supports biodiversity in pub gardens. With their guidance, we’ve transformed an otherwise unused corner into a thriving wildflower meadow, a small but significant step in supporting pollinators and enriching local biodiversity.

Well-behaved dogs are very welcome at The Litton, inside or out.

We’ve a covered seating area at the entrance, and our riverside terrace is also sheltered if your pup prefers to stay outdoors. Water bowls await our four-legged guests, and after your visit, why not explore our Litton Walk together?
